Our Challenger is the same way. Never had any concerns about it because, twice a year I go up with a bucket of water and Dawn dish washing soap. It always has looked the same.
I get calls almost daily at work on this issue from retail customers. After I get done explaining to them that we are talking about Cherokees and that I have the same thing happening to my SOB, they are much more relaxed.
