Never, ever heard of Michelin tires exploding and I have been using them for over 20 years. Wow. I have been buying them from Discount Tire and never let them charge full retail. My last set were the cheaper than Goodyear and some of the others. Toyo would be my second pick. I bought my Michelin about a year and a half ago so haven’t looked at prices recently but likely will replace them with Michelin again.
