I used Stanadyne performance formula and Lubricity formula in my 2001 Chevy 3500 dually for 20 years and its still running strong. I second the "gets better fuel mileage - you don't say", comment. It doesn't . Rural King also offers larger quantities at a reduced cost per use.
The process for refining to ultra low sulfur diesel takes the lubricity out of the fuel, probably not much the diesel manufacturer can do about that.
