I maybe figured it out. He said last week when we were checking brakes and doing a few other maintenance things that it desperately needed lubing and he was going to do it this weekend. So I started lubing the zerts (or whatever they are called) while I was down under the Montana this last time. Maybe when he jacked it up last weekend that the shackle/leaf spring areas are really dry and something got tweaked and didn't go back into position because it was so dry?

I know just enough to be dangerous.

So off I go to pull it on some bumpy roads to see if it gets itself back into position. I know I probably didn't grease enough spots but I did grease every place I found a zert and then places that looked like they should be greased.

I'm getting too old to be crawling under the Montana.

I'll be back.
