Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 5er. One thing that came to mind when you told us what you bought, is it's 6 years old. One of the very hot topics here lately is tires gone bad.
If there is anything that can ruin a good time on a vacation or just a get away is a blown tire and possible resulting damage it could cause. I would highly recommend that the tires be checked really good not just for inflation, but for wear, checking, bubbles, tread crowning, or any other defect you can find before heading out on a 5 week trip. There is also a date code on the tire that may look something like this: "2407" showing it was made in the twenty-fourth week of 2007. With this information you can see if they are original or have been replaced. Many suggest replacing the tires when they get to be over 5 or six years old.
