I do not want to hi jack this thread but I am wondering what your reasons are for switching from motor home to a 5th wheel set up? I ask becasue I am considering just the opposite as yourself and switching out of a 5th for a motor home. For one thing we do not require a second vehicle, our tow vehicle is getting older and replacing it is expensive. I figure I can get out with paying less for a gently used motor home by selling our 5th and truck than by purchasing a newer tow vehicle.I actually just started researching pricing options today but so far it appears I am correct.

I understand that interior space might be a bit less with a motor home compared to a similar 5th wheel but the convenience of an "all in one" solution appeals to me. It would also be only one vehicle to store in the off season.
