Our two Goldens, Beau, 6 and 95 lbs and Bella, 3 and 65 lbs travel with us. Both good travelers. Since we are getting a little elderly, we have to hit the rest stop at least once a day so that works well for them as well. Back seat of our Dodge is fine for them with the fold down platform. Truck has rear seat A/C vents so they stay cool as well. They will tell us if they are thirsty or hot; probably better travelers than two kids would be.
