For those of us who have seen how the tanks are constructed and how they balloon out as they fill, it is easy to understand how they can blow out. The tank is constructed by being machine formed in a heated press out of a sheet of abs plastic that is not that thick. What comes out is a container with a one inch lip around the top. The actual top of the tank is another single sheet of abs that is bonded to that one inch wide lip. Tanks only supported by a rail on each long side under that lip. As said earlier, these thin tanks expand when filled which stresses that bonded joint. Cure- thicker tank material with support under the tanks in a few places. For someone that has a tank failure and can't fix it themselves, it is a huge hit in time and money. I don't believe the tank quality is there...no supports under them is another problem...no real quality tank monitor system is another nail in the coffin. John
