Sounds like the paint and/ or gel coat needs more wax. what I have done is to use a spray wax, rub in and buff off at the same time this will even out the swirls you are seeing. I like Mother's Marine Spray wax or AERO COSMETICS WASH WAX ALL (order through Aircraft Spruce on-line.)
