I was wondering if I could just use a shorter 30amp cord and change it the end to a 50 amp twist lock! Thanks, I don't have an old 30 but I will be getting one now and making it the size I need. Didn't know if it would be that easy!

I don't want to just run the 20 amp, as when I go to load, clean and start the fridge, I don't want to have to switch cables to run one a/c unit.
