On my 2003 Mountaineer 315RLS travel trailer, I was getting a pretty bad smell at times in my rig. I installed a rotor type vent on top, this seemed to help some. I use my rig around four days a month. After dumping the black tank, I started running a gallon or so of fresh water into the black tank and adding chemicals. Not letting the tank dry out seems to help. While traveling in southern Utah, a fellow camper told me to use a cup of baking soda and some vinegar. He claims all his sensors are now working fine. Comments.
