What kencare said. Had the same issue first time doing the winterizing. Talked to the dealers head winterizing guy and told me to flip the cone screen around to open the one way valve up,worked perfectly doing that, but don't forget to flip the screen back around when done. Someone else posted this issue and i responded how to do it and they said it worked also by doing the screen flip around. Good luck.
