I would almost bet the battery is low and needs charging you stated you just picked it up I'm sure they did a walk through before sending you on your way if they didn't have it hooked up to shore power then and ran the slides and level up many times they pulled the battery down and you found it when getting home. My truck that I tow mine with is equipped to charge while towing but I had to hook up the wire for that under the hood easy to do just followed the instruction in the owners manual.
