I've also done that and after many years of camping too. I think it was the first trip in our 2007 when it happened. If that ever happens again make certain that you don’t forget about it or you might have some unpleasant things happen on the roof. Once the black tank fills up liquid goes the path of least resistance and that wouldn't be very pretty coming out the roof vents.
