It’s worse up on Union Pass far worse. Then there are the black flies. Mosquitoes are a minor inconvenience the black flies will eat you alive. The best time to go is September. They are all gone by then. The worse mosquitoes I ever saw was in the low lands in South Carolina. We used 4 wheelers hunting down there and they looked like black snow coming up. Far worse than Union Pass. Look up Cowden Plantation. A friend owns that and my brother and I used to go turkey hunting on it in the spring.
