I don't know about that Guage thing. I have a Guage in my 08 Ford because I want to see the EGT's. The Ford Warranty book... Says "performance enhancing chips or programes " will void the warranty.. The guage is neither..I would check the Dodge book for such a statement?? As for the chip we have been told by "qualified " folks that the chip does indeed leave a trail and can be detected..sort of like deleting things on the PC...you can't see them but they are still there and can be recovered. The 08 6.4l does not need more power as it has more than enugh to yank the 3400 around.
