dkq, I have a 2955rl (2009). I pulled it with a F-350 4 wheel drive , 6.0.
I upgraded to a 2015 F-350, 6.7, 4 wheel drive, CC, SB. The bed is a little deeper but space between bed rail and 5er is at least 6"if not more. The 6.7 pulls this trailer much better than the 04 6.0.
