Same here as the NCFischers. The cord that came with the rig twists on and this is what we keep in the rig and use when we travel. When I am at the stickhouse I use another separate twist-on that DOES have the ring lock. For a trip, I unplug from the rig, drag it a 2 feet into the garage where it waits for our return.

I think the twist lock is strong enough and don't expect to ever bump into it. I just wish I had 90 degree plugs, because the cheap cord with no strain relief that came with the rig is starting to separate at both connectors, exposing the insulated wires. I am not looking forward to the cord weight being held up by the insulating wires themselves. UGH. I'll have to find after-market strain reliefs and "fix it right"!
