You are correct Montana man I wrote that quote and I'll take full credit for it. I don't see the point in buying an extended warranty for a vehicle that is fully covered for 3+ years if you're going to trade it in after 4 years. The powertrain coverages are usually five years hundred thousand miles. I can see the dealer giving you a tad more for the extended warranty covered vehicle because it will be easier for them to sell.
