I know a lot of people use a lot of water when flushing(IMHO not necessary). We also do NOT put any PT down the toilet (it goes in a small trash can next to it). I installed a valve in the water line that feeds the toilet. If we are boondocking, we turn if off unless you really need water. We have gone upwards of 10 days without dumping this way. Never a smell in the camper. We also use happy camper.
