The house is going on the market and we are liquidating to go full timing at pre-retirement age. We will be proceeding with establishing residency in SD shortly. For those already on the FT path was it easiest to have this handled by using a mail forwarding service to navigate the process? If so what service providers would you recommend? I know that the DL and residency require our physical presence but it is my understanding that a great deal of the process and paperwork can be handled by companies providing mail forwarding services. Lastly any input on SD counties that do not add a wheel tax to vehicle registrations?
