My Garmin 785 and the Nav in my GM agree pretty much, but not always, but there is no way I can modify the route on the GM, but I can modify my route on the Garmin and do it all the time. Where most GPS units will route you through the middle of major cites on the main route, I prefer to use their bypass if available and my Garmin will let me alter the route to the bypass. Plus the height, weight, and total length are all programmed into the Garmin.
