I agree that the technology isn't there...yet. The car dealers aren't stocked with heavy duty, long range, quick charge TVs...yet. But I've learned to never say "never". Many people honestly didn't think that the automobile would replace the horse and buggy. In the past 100 years just think through the number of innovative technologies that rendered older technologies obsolete.

It's not there yet but much smarter minds than mine are working on it. EV's are likely here to stay and will continue to push technology to beyond where it is today. Who knows when it will be ready for "prime time"...but it will continue to improve.
