Drip, Drip, Drip Revisited.............

O.K., so I only thought I solved my under pantry puddle by tightening the hose clamp on the demand side of my pump. Upon further review I discovered a very slow drip under the pressure switch on the nose of my "Flojet" Triplex Water Pump, right behind a little plate secured by two phillips screws. Out comes the pump and off to the dealer for a new pump. Then I tear into the old pump to diagnose the problem and find that the little plate houses a spring that bears against a rubber cap which seals what appears to be a pressure relief hole. Centered on this plate is a very, very small allen head screw which, when screwed in increases the pressure on the rubber cap which I can only assume would have stopped the seep and saved me some $90.00. Just an FYI for everyone.
