MikeandJo4 could describe this better than me since he has taken a table out (I have never taken a wall mounted table out) - but you need to know that (I believe) the support for the cantilevered table is contained and hidden in a built-out "cabinet" (see pics below). If you are thinking of adding such a table - will you also build the "cabinet" to hide the support? Again - I am just thinking out loud here. I have never taken the cabinet apart to look at how the table is mounted. Also - I would bet that the table is not simply bolted to the exterior wall studs and hangs off the wall...seems like too much weight for the slideout wall - but I may be completely wrong. Someone else will have better information.
