I had the axles changed on our Montana to 7,000 lb ones in 2003. But this doesn't mean that I can now carry 14,000 lbs on the axles. I still have the same tires: LT235-85R16E. These tires will only permit 3042 lbs each, a total of 12,168 total lbs on the axles. When weighed last summer in Indiana, I had 12,500 on the axles. I don't dare put any more in the rig unless I move it. Unfortunately, my wife tends to keep a lot of things that help her with her Graphic Design work. Every once in a while I'm able to get her to "dump" some "stuff" (stuff she collects).

Are you saying you have 12.5k on the axles plus the pin weight?
