I have heard some folks advocate for totally disconnecting and some for just dropping the front jacks. As for us if we are only staying a few hours I don't do anything (no jacks at all-although we do have to put the kitchen slide out to get to bedroom and bathroom). We are usually dog tired and ready to sleep anyway. We simply tolerate the little bit of bounce and in the morning all we have to do is unplug and go. Same thing if we stay at a truck stop or something like that. But then its not something we did on a regular basis.
