35,000 miles

I turned 35,000 on my Ford F350. I put it in the shop to change the oil and filter along with the fuel filters. Since it has 35,000 miles and the main warranty goes out at 36,000, I had them give it a thorough check.

I complained about sluggishness on sudden acceleration, black tail pipe, and the lower than expected mileage. The mechanic seemed to know his business. He reprogrammed all three computers (I didn't know it had three). There was a noticeable difference in the responsiveness of the engine and even the sound. While there, he handled all recall issues, none of which I knew about.

I was handled with courtesy and professionalism at Williamsburg Ford, Lincoln and Mercury. To get that kind of service from a dealership where I did not buy was a joy.
