Hi John
We run a 2012 3402 on the back of a 2012 GMC 2500HD. We put bags in to prevent the rear suspension from hitting the snubbers only when going over unseen bumps in the road. Our truck sat about an inch down without them. I run 15 - 19 lbs hitched up and have found that our shock absorbers still function, when empty and unhitched I maintain 3 lbs in the bags for shape only, 5 lbs and we can feel it. I would try different pressures if I were you, testing with a digital gauge and trailer hooked up, keeping in mind that lower is better allowing your shock absorbers to do the work they were designed to do, otherwise we may as well just cut blocks of wood and jam them in there.
