REMINDER: Time to start collecting items for the Goshen Rally!! Each year, our generous Montana owners have supported a local Goshen charity, (CCS) Church Community Services. CCS was created 51 years ago as a program to address issues of poverty in the Elkhart/Goshen community. Over 50 churches work together to support programs that benefit families, conducting men’s and women’s training sessions, food bank, vegetable gardens, etc. Their website is www.churchcommunityservices.org if you would like to learn more. They also sell gift baskets, soup/cookie mixes and warm hand-made mittens.

9/12 SOOO impressed with our membership! Take a look at the Charity Table and see the progress made so far!! Glenn & I have organized the "giving" and if you are planning to add to the bounty, the below items are still needed and I have also made additional copies for the Charity table. It looks like we could use more paper products, soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, diapers, wipes, baby shampoo and body wash. Many thanks!!

They are in specific need of the following items:
· Canned meat and vegetables
· Hearty soups and ready-to-heat canned pasta meals
· Cereals (hot and cold)
· Crackers, rice, pasta, spaghetti sauce
· Hamburger Helper-like meal helpers
· Peanut butter, jelly
· Boxed potatoes
(Spices/seasonings are also welcome!)
· Toilet paper, soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant
· Feminine hygiene products
· Diapers, wipes, baby shampoo and body wash
· Toothpaste and toothbrushes
· Can openers
· Fons & Porter Klutz gloves (Med. & Large)
· Elmers glue
· Singer 8-1/2" fabric scissors
· 3 mm natural jute twine
· Fiskars pruning shears
· Fiskars micro-tip pruning shears
· Monetary or gift card donations (Meijers) are also greatly appreciated.

We will be collecting these items during Rally week and will have a clearly marked area for donations. In addition, there will be a separate prize drawing at the ladies luncheon for those bringing a can of food for the charity!
