Just like with a new rig, most MOCers would recommend the same PDI effort as if the rig were new. Not only will a thorough Pre-Delivery Inspection help identify what might not work, it would eliminate any surprises for some new gadget or feature that is installed on the rig and you need to learn how to use. Besides the tires you might want to crawl under the suspension and check the torque on the U-bolts and inspect brake wiring before you get on the road with it.

You sound RV experienced but since you asked, you'll want to do the PDI BEFORE you buy, just so you know what you are dealing with before you sign the bottom line. It's a home that experiences earthquakes every time it is moved and things will certainly go wrong down the road, so finding anything before you do this should be a benefit. Don't forget to check for all the user manuals for everything on the rig, not just the fridge.

The price on this one seems a little high and may have room for negotiation especially at a dealer, but it does sound like it's in great shape. You might try looking up nadaguides.com and verify the rig's price just for comparison.

I like reading about your patience and I hope this helps you enjoy your new rig!
