I had the dealer install an ONAN 5500, wired right into the trailer. It has remote start and I chose the Propane model so I wouldn't have to fuss with gas cans. The 5500 will run the AC, DVD player and TV with no struggle. I didn't try the microwave.... but see no reason it wouldn't handle it. I have only used it for about 3 hours, but it was quiet and performed flawlessly.
