Larry,
We would love to have you join the group in the desert!!! Take a look at this link which has some good information on how we get water, electric and take care of waste while there: Quartzsite 2012.
If you do plan to join us, at a minimum I would suggest upgrading to at least two 12-volt deep cycle batteries for your rig. Most of them only come from the dealers with one. If you were really up for it converting to at least two 6-volt golf cart batteries is even better. Here is a link to the conversion I did to our rig a while back: Battery Upgrade.
