In the future ... you might consider starting your own thread as this one was started 4 years ago with a brief revival in 2019. Winmagbar may not even own a fiver by now.
I'd try and make your repair without removing lines. The less you take apart (unless you just have to) the less problems arise. However it is easy to purge the air out of the system as all you do is fully cycle the slides in and out 3-4 times.
