We put ours behind one of the recliners.

One word of advice put something under it that allows air to circulate beneath the litter box. Ours had started causing a stain under the litter box but the fellow that cleans the carpet for us got it out. He had some foam blocks about ½ thick and about 1 inch square with sticky on one side that has corrected the problem.
