We all know where the combustion air comes from. I am asking where the air to be heated and disbursed comes from when the stair vents are blocked off.

As the main cabin is closed off from the heater, the air has to come from the compartment where the heater lives. That means it is sucked up from around the tanks and that air is then replaced by outside air through the under belly openings and the pass through door seals. Consequently the heater is trying to heat cold air rather than the already warm cabin air. Is this correct?
