Sorry!! We have a 3811---the fan/light in the living room has a pull chain to turn on the light on the fan--it's the rocker switch on the panel with all the other light controls,slide outs and awning controls that we have to push and hold at the on position to work--if you don't hold it hard against the panel it move back about 2-3 mm and it goes off.I'll try to get a pic
