I have the model 3402 RL and i replaced mine with the 40 pound tanks with no problem. The 30 and 40 are the same diameter but the 40 is a few inches taller. You may need to relocate your regulator a little higher using self tapping screws but that should be it. Your hose line should have plenty of slack to move regulator. Your bracket to secure the tanks will not have to be adjusted.About a 5 minute job on each side. 33% more fuel does make a difference.
