I used to be just like Jay Hudson regarding cleanliness and care of things I own but age and infirmity is starting to catch up with me and time is at a premium (I retire in 1 1/2 years) so the Monty may not be as clean or shine as much as I'd like but I do take care of all the maintenance (or have it done). I still do all my basic maintenance on the truck and I did just come back from having it washed. DW says all my stuff looks brand new. I do get high dollar when I sell things because I take care of my stuff.
Why do I do that? Easy... I worked too darn hard to get it and I earned every penny. My dad was the same way. My son is headed in the right direction.
