Check to be sure the outside weep holes on the bottom edge are not blocked first.
If you do have to remove the window, it's not hard. Remove the screws from the inside then gently pry and run a thin blade around the outside. The outside frame and glass will separate from the inside frame. They are sandwiched together with the screws from the inside. Make sure you replace all the sealant.
