CORattler: Around Vietnam time frame, the Army used "Hollywood" radio call signs consisting of the unit mascot with a number denoting the duty position. Six being the commander, five the executive officer, seven being the 1SG, etc. Example - if you want to talk to the commander of the A Co Assassins, you would call Assassin 6.

Any military man will tell you that their wife is the commander of their household. Hence the wife's call sign is HouseHold 6, or HH6.
