Our stove top lights with a "spark maker", but I light the oven by holding down the oven control button while on "pilot" and using a lighter wand to ignite the pilot. As long as the switch on the oven is not turned to "off", the pilot stays lit.
Question: does anyone light the oven pilot with the sparker used to ignite the top?
