I believe if you check you will see that the distance from pin to the center of axles are all diff. One of the reasons pin weight are so diff... I spent a whole day back in 05 trying to make up my mind as to what the pin weight would end up as my 05 3475 empty has a pin weight of 1560 and loaded the way we camp its 2100 I have a little hydraulic weighting device works great 0 to 5000 lb rating. And not wanting a dually and wanting a Chevy instead of bad experience with my 03 ford I weighted every trailer model they had in stock and the lowest was the 3475 then. weighted the pin at actual level attitude. so went with the 3475 and am happy no longer over truck cvwr. Long story 6.0 Chevy gas dually. 03 ford 6.0 diesel (what a mess) F250 400 lb over cvwr to 3500 srw diesel LLY engine. Now have 200 plus can add before being at cvwr. I feel safer and Insurance carrier now is happy. (can now use the car washes again.
