Tows the Monty like a dream... Also doesn't hurt at all to have the super low 1st and 2nd gear in the Aisin tranny.

I have towed now with two different short bed 1 tons . Ford Superduty crew cab , and the Ram Megacab, and there was a lot of difference in stability ,both SRW. As been said that Megacab is nearing the same length of a crew cab long bed .

You have basically gained a couple extra tires , and of course an increase in payload . But the same truck, wheelbase, bed length etc .IMO the MC is the best of two worlds ,one wanting a short bed ,and one wanting a dually . I even like the looks of the DRW MC, but I have no need for a dually , or for the matter a long bed .
