We have a 2007 Montana, 2955RL, that is 12,000 lbs road ready.
We bought a 2011 GMC 3500HD crew cab, short box, single rear wheels.
The Monty has approximately 15,000 miles on it, and just had brakes and bearings
serviced in October, 2010.
The new truck has the integrated brake controller, and we tow with it set at 4.0. It will stop us in a hurry. Tried 3.5 and that wasn't quite enough, even tried 4.5 and it was way too positive.
I am thinking the Dodge owner must have some gremlins in his controller.
