I will "second" the suggestion about Buena Vista,Colorado. We usually stay at the Arrowhead Point RV park north of town
http://www.arrowheadpointresort.com/. We have also stayed at the KOA out at Johnson Village. But there are many nice parks in the area. It's one of our favorite places.
