Although it's much colder than Florida or Texas, many, many parks in Kentucky, Tennessee, South and North Carolina, and Georgia have year round camping. Of course, you've got to take some precaution again potential freezing in Kentucky, (but even Florida has been know to free up so much, Orange crops are lost and such. And even Dallas, Texas has seen it's share of snow and ice storms in the last few years.

Anyway, it's just something to think about if you have no other options, heading a bit further North, but still at campgrounds that are open year round. Colder weather camping is different, but it is a great experience too!

If Plan "B" does not work out, maybe this can be a Plan "C".
