for just keeping a maintenance charger going.. might look into a very small 100 amp solar system? i believe this would also keep your fridge working also. everything else turned off.
as it would be bolted to your roof, no fear of a power cord taking a walk.
as to when you are there you can turn off the solar and plug in your 50 amp cord.
