A fact. Wind energy accounts for about 20% of Texas power, but was publicly blamed for all the electrical problems last winter. An attempt by the powers that be to try to shift the blame to someone else. Gas power plants provide nearly 50% of Texas power. And the loss of those power plants due to plants freezing up and gas pipelines freezing up was far to great for wind power to make up for. Especially so since some of the wind turbines also froze up. Typical finger pointing to avoid blame.
