The sailun's are 14 ply all steel which means the sidewalls are steel same as tread. You will have 4,000 to 4400 pound rating depending on whether you go 80 series or 85 series. They have a great reputation as you will not find hardly anyone who has had a problem with them. They are getting to be very easy to find because of there popularity. And yes they are much cheaper than the goodyears and are just as good if not better. I am on my second set and I would give them a 5 star rating for price and quality. If you can find a better tire then buy it but I don't think there is one out there.
